“With tenacity and bravery, there is little that cannot be accomplished.”

Contributions to Administration

As Vice President for Clinical Programming and Facility Development, Ms. McCulley “facilitates the design and renovation or construction of clinical facilities to support the university's vision and strategic initiatives,” she said. Ms. McCulley credits her success to the fact that she “never limited my career path by setting specific goals. Rather, as opportunities presented themselves, I took them. As a result, with the help of numerous colleagues, we stopped counting when we hit the creation of 50 new programs and services, and we have just kept going. I am so fortunate to have found myself in this wonderful position.”

Taking Risks

“Through my 40-plus-year career, I took innumerable risks, and encountered more barriers and setbacks than anyone should have had to experience,” Ms. McCulley said. She took these challenges in stride, learning “that I was not going to let these experiences keep me from what I wanted to accomplish and what I knew could be accomplished here at UT Southwestern.”

The UT Southwestern Difference

“The elements I like most about my job are the sense of accomplishment when patients and families come to us and trust us with their care.”

Additionally, she cherishes the “pride upon the completion of a project, and always being pushed by my colleagues who are so intelligent, energetic, and passionate about what they do.”
